CWCHU Service Team X Anew Toys 🌠

"Toys Upcycling Project" is a collaboration between CWChu Service Team and Anew Toys, an extra-mural organisation. Upcycling, also known as creative reuse, is the process of transforming by-products, waste materials, useless, or unwanted products into new materials or products of better quality for better environmental value. 😉We will be holding two service-orientated activities: mass donation of second-hand toy and an upcycling funfair in January. Your unwanted playthings will be collected anytime anywherewithin CUHK. Together, we can transform old playthings into brand new toys. 

 

✔️Recyclable:
Models and constructive toys (e.g.: lego, assorted vehicle, figures)
Playsets (e.g.: craft kit)
Board Games (e.g.: chess, puzzles, cards, playmats)
Musical instruments toys (e.g.: xylophone)
Painting tools (eg: paint, brush, crayon, tinted paper)

 

⛔️Non-recyclable:
Soft toys
Electronic toys
Large toys
Liquid toys
Weapons and offensive toys

 

 

中大敬文書院服務隊 x 再生玩具店 🎁🎉
今年，敬文服務隊首次與社企「再生玩具店」合作，推廣再生玩具計劃，重燃二手玩具的生命。二手玩具不僅能分享給有需要的人，而且還能煥然一新，變成新的玩具。透過升級改造 (UPCYCLING)，抽出玩具可用的配件，加添一點創意和色彩🎨，即能改裝成一件全新的玩具。2018年1月，將會有舊玩具回收和玩具一換一嘉年華，是時候坐言起行！💛💚

益智玩具及棋類 (如: 象棋、珠串)
玩具樂器 (如: 鋼片琴、敲 樂)
畫具 (如: 顏料、顏色、畫筆、花紙)
